Hi, Laurie,

Ooh, more movies for me to check out. But this movie came out much earlier…
Thanks, Meg! Keep um coming!
Okay, just checked the comments on my last entry. Things are getting interesting and we’re getting closer. Check out the comments for clues…

Is it “Of Human Bondage?” (1934)

Ok, here’s another try: “Local Boy Makes Good” (1931).
In this one John, a shy botanist student, turns into a track star in order to win the heart of Julia. In one scene Julia confronts John and convinces him to join the track team. In this exchange she calls him an “emotional introvert”. You can actually see this bit in the official trailer (apologies in advance for the longish URL)

Oh, one more, since I just remembered the term extroverted wasn’t actually used at all in “Local Boy Makes Good”.
“Dinner at Eight” (1933)
During a scene where Kitty is lying in bed, she mentions to Dan, her husband who’s running around getting dressed and coaxing her to get up, that Dr. Talbot told her that she’s an introvert and he’s an extrovert.
And that exhausts my guesses, whew…

Did you get my guess of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde? Can’t find it in the comments for some reason.
